Description
The Felting Pangolin is a great tool for wet felting and is incredibly versatile. It is slim and long enough to felt inside 3d vessels or slippers with ease and has many uses. It’s great for shibori felt too! It can felt small detailed areas on flat pieces of felt too. It’s an essential and beautiful piece of kit.
I use these tools to make my wet felt and wanted to make them available to my customers. Hand made from solid and beautiful FSC sustainable Sapele wood and finished with 3 coats of sturdy lacquer. These are made by hand by a master carpenter in his Herefordshire workshop.
This is a tool with a gorgeously tactile handle which is easy to grip. Because the handle is on the top you are able to keep your hands drier than with the rectangular block. This has a caramel gloss colour and a tactile smooth finish. The bottom resembles a bar of chocolate and it’s great for wet felting and getting into those awkward parts of your work but also makes short work of a flat large piece. They are wonderful for speeding up the process of wet felting.
