Hello all, excitingly I have some new pure mulberry silk sheets back in for sale. They are hand dyed carefully to create fabulous rainbow effects. They can be used for felting or for hand spinning. Snap them up quickly if you want to buy as they flew out last time.
For felting they can be needle or wet felted into a background mixed with other fibres and give an amazing sheen and rainbow of colour to your project, lifting it into luxury. You can use as a whole sheet, tease it apart or use small parts. The texture and sheen has to be seen to be believed!!!
For hand spinning I draft them through a diz or they can be hand drafted. They can be spun on their own or with other fibres, or plied with other fibres. They are minimum of 57g each although some are over 70g and they go a very long way, the mini skein that I include in the photos as an example is only 4 grams! Of course all my orders come with freebies. If you wish to include one of my hand made diz, they are on offer elsewhere in my shop.
