I often use these large bamboo mats to make my wet felt and nuno scarves and wanted to make them available to my customers.
They are wonderful for speeding up the process of wet felting.
This bamboo mat is huge, it’s 60cm (just under 2 ft) wide and is just over 5.2 ft in length. This is a super textured surface which will help speed up wet felting where required and works better than bubble wrap. I don’t roll up my wet felting, simply use my fulling blocks and felting roller on this surface rather like making pastry.
It’s hard to show the full size in the photos but I did my best. This is natural bamboo. The wet felting block is to illustrate the size only and is available separately.
